Circumstances by reason of which Securities Holder has interest	On 17 November 2020, Batu Kawan Berhad ("BKB") entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement ("Agreement") with Permodalan Nasional Berhad and Amanahraya Trustees Berhad as trustee for Amanah Saham Malaysia, Amanah Saham Bumiputera and Amanah Saham Bumiputera 3-Didik unit trust funds (collectively,"Sellers") for the purchase of 94,449,487 ordinary shares ("said shares") in Chemical Company of Malaysia Berhad. By virtue of Section 8(6)(a) of the Companies Act 2016 ("CA 2016"), BKB is deemed interested in the said shares. Accordingly, CCC is also deemed interested in the said shares via its direct and deemed interests in BKB by virtue of Section 8(4)(c) of the CA 2016
